Sometimes a stripped hex head screw becomes difficult to remove when stripped. With Screw-Saver you can modify a slightly larger size to fit in the hole and take the screw out.
If a new square drive screw is larger or smaller than the screwdriver tip you have, Screw-Saver can make it right with a new custom ground tip.
The chuck assembly is designed to grind not only a flat-head screwdriver but also a hex and square tip as well. This is possible because of the multi position chuck that was custom made for this tool. It can rotate to the necessary positions for all of these various types of screwdriver tips.
